A NEW ERA FOR WOODLAWN VILLAGE
Over the past year, community members have spearheaded a dedicated effort to acquire the Calico Cat building, which will soon house the Calico Cat Cafe. Recognizing the property's historical significance and its role as a cornerstone of the community for decades, these residents worked tirelessly to ensure that it would continue to serve as a vital asset to the neighborhood.
Through countless meetings, fundraising efforts, and collaboration with local stakeholders, we are making significant progress on transforming this place into a vibrant cafe and community gathering space.
